Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use localStorage, a similar browser feature. This policy explains what we use and how you can control it.
Strictly necessary
We store your cookie consent choice (key: wts-consent) so we do not ask again on every page. This cannot be switched off because it is needed to respect your choice.
Functional (browser storage)
Community votes, 'was this helpful?' feedback, the comparison tray and free-tool inputs are saved in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device.
Advertising
If advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies such as those for ad delivery, frequency capping and personalisation. These are only used for personalised advertising after you accept in our banner. You can opt out at any time via Google Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com) or www.aboutads.info/choices.
Google Consent Mode
We implement Google Consent Mode v2. By default ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage are set to 'denied'. They are updated to 'granted' only if you choose 'Accept all'.
Managing cookies
- Use the 'Cookie settings' link in the footer to reopen the banner and change your choice.
- Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and site data in their settings.
- Blocking all cookies may affect parts of the Site.
How to control cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies through their settings. Blocking all cookies may stop some features from working, such as remembering your consent choice.
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
Changing your consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie settings link in the site footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.
